Welcome to Arise Church!

Arise Church is located in Hilo, Hawaii. We are a family of believers who passionately grow in our faith together as we follow Jesus. We invite you to take a look around and learn more about us.

  • Every Sunday morning during our 7:30 AM, 9 AM, and 10:30 AM services, we offer in-person and online services, where we start with singing a mix of contemporary and traditional music led by our worship team. After worship, we hear an inspiring message from the Pastor. Plan to hang around after service to connect with our Arise Church Family and enjoy a great time of fellowship over coffee and refreshments!

  • Don't worry—we have a place for them to learn and grow in their faith and fellowship! Arise Kids is available during Sunday services for children ages two months through five.

    For 6th-12th graders, Arise Youth is on Friday nights (except for the last Friday of every month) from 6-8pm.

  • We're located at the Arc of Hilo, 1099 Waianuenue Ave, HI 96720. Sunday services are available in person or online at 7:30 AM, 9 AM, and 10:30 AM.

  • Start by filling out a Connect Card so we can get to know you and help you get connected at Arise Church. To dive deeper, attend Next Steps every third Sunday from 12–2 PM at the Arc of Hilo (lunch is provided). The next date is on our Events tab. If you’ve completed your steps and want to commit, you can join our Membership Classes to become a member of Arise Church.

  • Feeding The Hungry

    Sunday, July 12th

    Join us as we feed our Downtown Hilo homeless community every second Sunday of each month.  We deliver food and the good news that they are loved by an amazing God.
    If you would like to get involved, meet us in front of Connections School every second Sunday of the month at 12:15 PM.

What an incredible Sunday at Arise Church! 🙌 This past weekend, we kicked off our brand new series, No Other Gospel — a verse by verse journey through Galatians. In a world filled with competing voices, opinions, and beliefs, we’re being reminded of a timeless truth: salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. As we continue through this series, may we be a church that stands firm in biblical truth, rooted in God’s Word and unwavering in our faith. That’s who we are.
