The Source Of Faith | Greg Sanders
This past Sunday, we were grateful to hear from Pastor Greg Sanders of Vintage City Church in Fort Collins, Colorado, as he joined us in our Faith for More series. His message invited us to reflect on where faith truly comes from and how it grows over time through a real and personal relationship with God.
Faith is often misunderstood as something you either have or do not have, but Scripture shows us that faith is something that can be developed. It grows as we learn to listen to God and walk in alignment with what He is speaking. Faith is not about striving harder or trying to manufacture belief. It is formed naturally as we stay connected to Him.
Pastor Greg shared that faith is built through hearing God’s voice. As we listen and respond in obedience, our trust in Him deepens and our awareness of His faithfulness increases. Over time, we begin to recognize that God is actively involved in our lives and that He rewards faith as we continue to seek Him.
Throughout the message, we were reminded that God desires closeness with His people. He invites us into friendship and ongoing conversation, not just moments of instruction. When we intentionally make space to listen, our faith begins to grow in steady and meaningful ways.
One practical encouragement from the message was to write down our prayers and reflect on how God answers them. This simple habit helps us become more aware of His voice and more confident in His presence. Looking back at answered prayers strengthens our faith and reminds us that God has been at work all along.
As we continue in the Faith for More series, we are invited to remain attentive and open to what God is speaking. Faith grows as we walk with Him consistently, trusting that He is leading us forward one step at a time.
