Faith Like Joshua & Caleb | Standing Strong When Everyone Else Backs Down

I want to challenge you to live with a different kind of faith, the kind Joshua and Caleb had. In Numbers 13 and 14, the people of Israel stood right on the edge of God’s promise, but instead of moving forward, they let fear take over. They saw giants, fortified cities, and impossible odds, and suddenly what God said felt smaller than what they were facing.

But Joshua and Caleb saw the same land and responded differently. They trusted God over what they saw. That is real faith. Faith does not deny the giants, it simply refuses to make them bigger than God. You do not need smaller problems, you need a greater revelation of who God is.

While everyone else complained and wanted to go back, Joshua and Caleb stood firm, even when it meant standing alone. That is the reality of faith. It will not always be popular, but it will always lead you forward. Truth is truth, no matter how many people disagree with it.

And here is what I love. Decades later, Caleb is still holding onto the promise. At 85 years old, he is saying, “Give me the land God promised me.” That is not temporary faith, that is enduring faith.

So hear me, if you want to step into what God has for you, something has to change. Some mindsets, habits, and even relationships might need to go. Not because God is taking from you, but because He is leading you into something greater.

At the end of the day, the question is simple. Are you going to believe the giants in front of you, or the God who already promised you the land?
